Marie Cullen is not only my wife, life partner, best friend, but a great interpretor of the Irish landscape. Definitely have a good look at her work.

Working Artist Studios is a wonderful place, resource, inspiration in Skibbereen. It is a gallery of new and exciting Art; artist's workshops that are open to the public; a location for classes & courses; and and Cultural Centre where poetry readings, music gigs and writing and art workshops take place. Visit the site - both virtual and actual

Barry McCullough, Irish artist, print maker, member of Working Artist Studios, Skibbereen, Co.Cork, web designer, tour guide, co-founder of West Cork Radio has a number of fascinating sites well worth looking at. He is a neighbour and great friend and also my web meister/sensei, without whom, etc.etc. He's an artist and member of the Working Artist Studios in Skibbereen, Co.Cork, Ireland. He also has a great interest in and knowledge of the Peruvian Rainforest, has lived there and runs Art tours there. For more on this, have a look at the wonderful trailsofthespirit.com site.
Also look at Barry's sites Tiny Frog and Bullfrog where you can see his ingenious web designs (like this one!).
A really interesting development by Barry is his "Sketch Crawl Day" - have a look at his dedicated website for more information on this brilliant idea. Whew! Talk about making you feel inadequate!

Another fantastic site by the indefatigable Barry McCullough is Artist's Meeting Place, a place where artists can connect, communicate and show samples of their work.

My younger son, Murchadh is part of the best Punk Rock band in West Cork (at the very least!) called Good Dead Me - turn the volume up first!!

And while we're on the subject, Clodagh Simonds is one of Ireland's musical treasures. She's been writing, performing, recording & playing since her early teens and has played with a veritable Who's Who of musical greats, Irish and international. (Oh, and with me too!!) She was in the now-cult 70's Irish Folk band, Mellow Candle and is currently recording and performing with the transcendent Fovea Hex.

Locally-based poet, James Harpur is one of the best writers of poetry in Ireland today. His readings are a delight.

During the Summer months, my "real" job is guiding people on walking tours in the hills and glens of rural ireland, Connemara; The Burren, Co.Clare; Killarney and the Dingle Peninsula, Co.Kerry; west Co.Cork; and next year, Counties Antrim and Down, in Northern Ireland. I work with a company in Vermont called Country Walkers.

Have a look/listen to Liam and myself LIVE!! at the Working Artist Studios, Skibbereen, Co.Cork
